Samsung Techwin is breathing with the local community throughout sharing activities for the local community people such as farming community, children, youth, the disabled and the old as well as to preserve the environment. To become an enterprise that communicates with the people of the local community while being friendly, we are expanding our voluntary activities to activities that are specialized around our business, activities that come from the talents of our staff members and activities that deliver love and sympathy.

  • Agricultural village support - Through a continuous exchange with six agricultural villages, every year at the farming season, our executive and staff members with their families participate in helping the famers as well as farming-experience learning. They also make contributions to the farmers by purchasing the agricultural products. Also, various agricultural village activities such as supporting graduate gifts for elementary and middle school students, supporting native English teachers for elementary schools, supporting sports competitions, delivering gifts during national holidays and keeping the village beautiful are carried out to practice our love for agricultural villages.

  • Supporting low-income household children and youth - We are practicing various cultural experience activities so the children and the youth, who are our dreams for the future, have a range of experience as well as various viewpoints. Also, we are supporting education for the local children center, its environment enhancement business and books for the children of the local children center.

  • Club (professional) voluntary activity - At clubs composed for our executive and staff members to enjoy their various habits, they have their own voluntary activities which bring out their specialties. The music club holds music concerts at street fundraising events for child-cancer children, while holding concerts also for the estranged old people, the children and the local people to give joy to our neighbors. In addition, baseball, soccer and swimming clubs practice sports lessons for the disabled and the children, while the photography club takes photos of solo-living aged people for their long-living (portrait photos).

  • Medical voluntary work - Since the year 1997, our medical team has been visiting the estranged old people once every month to practice free medical examination and treatment. The medical service through regular visits with professional medical team is being of a help that protects the health of the old people who can easily be careless about health due to economic difficulties.

  • Company-open festival - 'Company-open festival' is a festival that involves production line tour, dance festival, experiencing clubs and musical concerts by inviting the disabled, children in responsibility of household and children from the local children center on the disabled’s day, the children’s day and during the period of voluntary service festival.

  • Walking together of love - We are supporting children suffering from child cancer with the fund raised through ‘Walking-together of love’ by our executive and staff members.
